Cosworth has finalised its acquisition of Silverstone-based electrification specialists Delta, strengthening the company’s position at the heart of the transport technology revolution.
Formal completion of the Delta acquisition allows Cosworth to accelerate its offering in electrification. It also affords Cosworth a location at the heart of the UK’s high-performance technology cluster, Silverstone.
Through Delta’s expertise, Cosworth can meet the evolving needs of its customers as they transition to hybrid, EV and fuel cell configurations. Delta’s industry-leading work in battery systems, control systems, electric/hybrid drivetrains, full vehicle programmes, lightweight structures and simulation are a perfect complement to Cosworth’s existing solutions.
